The Silicon Valley Region extends from Highway 92 in the north to Monterey County in the south. It consists of the southern part of San Mateo county, the south-western part of Alameda county, Santa Clara county, Santa Cruz county, San Benito county and Monterey county.

The first map below shows the counties highlighted in blue. The second map is a more detailed map of the northern part of the region showing where the San Mateo and Alameda counties split between the SF Bay region and the SV region. Any school that is at or close to the northern border (on either side) can have their choice of whether to compete in the Silicon Valley tournament or the SF Bay Region tournament. Similary, schools close to other county borders can also choose to participate in our tournaments or in the adjacent region's tournaments, as convenient.
